VARIEGATED IN VOGUE
by Anne Halliday. $6.50
Twelve afghan designs using variegated and solid yarns to produce interesting patterns. Eleven of the twelve are worked on the right side only by breaking off at the end of each row and tying back on at the starting end (the ends are left for fringe). The method is time-consuming but the effects are great! The twelfth design is done in squares. Most of the designs are closely worked, not lacy, so they would be good for men also. All shown in worsted weight yarn.
