IT'S A FILET CROCHET CHRISTMAS ($6.75) by Hartmus Hass. More of Mr. Hass' designs, this time for Christmas: Bethlehem Night mantel scarf, Snowstar doily, Snowflake pillow, Christ Bells pillow, Festive Fir Tree pillow, and Candlelight centerpiece. Instructions are given for adjusting the length of the mantel scarf, and I believe the centerpiece could be made longer with a little planning because it starts at the center. All are made with size 10 cotton thread.

POPCORN STITCH DOILIES ($6.75) by Josie Rabier..

SORRY, ALL GONE!

Have you noticed that crocheters are becoming like murder-mystery fans, they have their favorite author/designers? Ms. Rabier has many fans and this set of 5 patterns shows why; all of them use the popcorn stitch a lot: Amorous (24"), Courtship (23"), Stargazer (20"), Love Affair (14", a variation of the old-time grape doily), and Romance (26"). All use size 10 cotton thread.
